Ta’ Betta Winery
Taż-Żiri off Triq Blat il-Qamar
Girgenti l/o Siġġiewi
How to get there
Driving from Rabat
As you start driving up Saqqajja hill towards Mdina you will arrive at the crossroad which on your left takes you down the road “tat-Tiġrijja”; stick to this main country road towards Girgenti. When you finally reach the roundabout in the limits of Girgenti which to the right leads you to the Inquisitor’s summer residence, which to the left leads to Siġġiewi, or if one drives more or less straight leads to Fawwara, stop, the vineyard you will see ahead of you is Ta’ Betta.
Driving from Siġġiewi
Follow the signs from Siġġiewi square to Girgenti or The Laferla Cross. You will soon be on one of two country roads Triq Blat il-Qamar or Triq Bur il-Kbir. These two roads converge and merge into Triq Blat il-Qamar in the limits of Girgenti in the Contrada Ta’ Bria. Slightly further on there will be a turning to the left which takes you to the area known as Taz-Ziri where the entrance to the winery can be found.
The bus-stop named Girgenti Siġġiewi on route 201 brings you to the foot of the estate. Alternatively look out for bus-stop named Salib on routes 62, 201, 209 which will stop you on Triq Blat il-Qamar about 10 minutes walk away from the winery if you walk towards Girgenti or the Laferla Cross.
and we will get back to you
